International #lovetheatre Day!

We are so excited to be participating in International #lovetheatre Day with @twitterUK. Follow us all day on Wednesday, November 19th to see what really goes on in the day in the life of Triad Stage. 8:30am – 10am: Behind the Scenes of a Publicity Call
Marketing and Social Media Manager, Megan Mabry, is at Fox 8 WGHP with Scrooge and Tiny Tim to appear on the Morning Show. Watch them prepare for an interview and see what goes into promoting a show.

11am – 12pm: Production Department 
Follow Eric Hart, props master, as he continues the finishing touches on Snow Queen at The Pyrle Theatre in Downtown Greensboro.

12:00pm – 1:00pm: Artistic Department 
Artistic Associate Tamera Izlar will be live tweeting a meeting with her fellow Artistic Associate Bryan Conger and Artistic Director Preston Lane as they discuss the new possibilities for The UpStage Cabaret. Catch an inside look on how we develop programming and foster new artistic homes for other artists in the Triad.

1:00pm – 2:00pm: Development Department
Our End of Year asks are well underway. Follow Development Associate, Cedric Blue II to find out how a 7,000 piece mailing is processed and the volunteers that make it all happen.

3:00 pm – 4:00 pm: #AskATheatre with Artistic Director, Preston Lane

7:00pm + #rehearsal
Artistic Associate, Tamera Izlar will live tweet the evening rehearsal of our upcoming production of A Christmas Carol. Follow her at @triadstage for photos, videos and a look into the rehearsal process.

Meanwhile, Artistic Director, Preston Lane will tweet from his personal handle, @aprestonlane, through a rehearsal of Snow Queen, which he wrote and directed last season. This year he is just the playwright as Dani Keil take the helm as director. Follow him for fun insights about the writing process, his relationship with Laurelyn Dossett and being a playwright vs. a director.

Added bonus! Composer and Songwriter, Laurelyn Dossett, will also be tweeting from her personal handle, @laurelyndossett, through the same rehearsal. Follow her and Preston for a very unique view of the artistic process from the eyes of the creators.
